Hello Australia!

Talked to Ms and Mrs Sunshine on Skype today. So nice to see and talk to them again, and i'm really excited about their wedding even though it's in March next year... I've just been to one wedding before, two with my mum and dad's but i was four years old and can't say that i remember much... The wedding i've been to was in Greece, swedish couple, but the priest was just speaking in greek so i have no idea of what he was talking about.

Their wedding are going to be held in Hoi An, Vietnam. A country i've never been to, so just that is exciting!! Waiting for the next information-invitation to get all the details. However, glad i got to speak with her for a bit today!

I've come to that stage when you don't know what day it is, even though i was working just two days ago. So nice! And these two days in Stockholm has felt like at least three, four... days. However, it's been two full packed days of laughs, shopping and reunion.

Yesterday morning at 6.30am we were on the road again. Smögen one day, and Stockholm the next day. Life could have been worse, much worse... We kept ourselves quite busy by shopping all day long. Got to see Karin and Linus, her boyfriend that i hadn't met yet. Very nice!

Shopping is tiring so we ended up sitting down, having an awesome dinner at T.G.I Fridays. Cocktails and yummy food, not bad for a Mondaynight. I'd say, Thank god it was Monday!

Thanks to Rebecca for two amazing days, think she passed the test by putting up with me for two whole days. That's not easy..haha And thanks to Gabriela for letting us stay!! I'm so grateful to be surrounded by so many lovely and beautiful friends, i feel lucky!!

Tip top helg!

The weather has been absolutely amazing, just as lovely as the days before. Busy days at work, but i'm loving it. This is how it's supposed to be, this is the feeling i wanna keep for the rest of my working-life. The feeling that you're not working, the feeling that your job is something you're passionated about. Anyways, this weekend gets 10 out of 10 points!

No time...

... to stay inside!!! It's amazingly good weather here at the moment, around 25 degrees and sunshine! Talked to Watson on skype last night, and it sounds like Scotland got some sunshine too. Seems like it's stunning all over Europe! Summer is definitely here.. I can't put words on how much i love being home in Sweden during the summer. It's definitely our most beautiful season!

The last couple of days has been spent in our summerhouse. I've got more than one place to call home, but if i had to choose my favorite one, our summerhouse gotta be number one! Love it!

Tomorrow night we're going down to Smögen for a weekend of work. Rebecca and i are driving down together, she's working in another shop so that works out quite good!

What a longweekend! Lots of people, good sales and nice summer-ish-weather!!! And good catch up with new-found-friends after work for long walks, dinners....

Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships

I'm tired of this crap weather we're having in Sweden right now! The few days the sun has been out, it's been amazingly nice and warm but right now it's just raining, raining, cold and it's super windy! When am i supposed to get my white legs ready for summer?? Just asking...

The Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships in Riksgränsen starts tomorrow and i would have loved to be there!! The snow conditions are supposed to be awesome as well... If i wasn't working  Thursday-Sunday this week i would've gone, that's for sure!! But it takes a lifetime (almost...) to get up there by train... Next year! For you guys who don't know, Riksgränsen is a place in the very north part of Sweden that usually doesn't open till end of March/April ish and you can actually go skiing there till summer if the conditions are good enough.

Another weekend in Smögen, another weekend of work. It's been a pretty quiet weekend but we had some stuff to sort out so kept ourselves busy. We went down early yesterday morning since it was my dads birthday on Friday, 47 years old. Someone's getting old...

Home-home for three days and then i'm probably going down to Gothenburg on Wednesday to find a dress to wear at my sisters' graduation in June and theeen UPP to Smögen the same night to meet up with Karin who's coming as well. It's long weekend in Sweden this coming week so the store will be open from Thursday to Sunday.

Canada-flash-backs!

Look what i found at the liquor shop today, new arrival. Good n' old Pabst Blue Ribbon. Something we used to buy big cases of while living in Canada. They're definitely not as cheap here in Sweden as over there... 

Oh happy day!

What a good day! My first day off in WEEKS, or sort of.. Had to do some work this morning but just for a couple of hours and then i met up with Linn and Amanda. We went down to a place by the lake played adventure golf, fikade (a swedish word for having sweet treats or pastries) and a hot dog-bbq. Lovely, sunny spring day!!

And just before dinner i had over an hour skype date with my gorgeous friend Jenna from Whistler. Haven't talked to her since my last week in Japan so we had lots of stories and things to talk about!!

Something is missing...

I miss every single thing about Japan!!

I just have one of those days, the days when you're missing something. Today i'm missing Japan and everything that comes with it. And i miss skiing too, crazy eh?! I wish i could have powder 10 out of 12 months of the year. The other two would preferably be summer months. Two summer months would be perfectly enough!

Home sweet home.

Just got home after two weeks in Smögen, two weeks field with loots of work but i've enjoyed every single minute, honestly. I'll post some photos of what the shop looks like right now later on tonight. Sitting outside without a key at the moment, waiting for someone to get home and let me in... Frustrating to not be able to get in after a pretty long bus ride.. At least it's sunny outside and i'm really in need of some sunshine, my skin is WHITE!!
