Let it snow!

Chris, one of my friends in Whistler, posted this photo of Whistler mountain yesterday...
It shouldn't be allowed to post such pictures on facebook!!!

It was snowing on Whistler, i'm not jealous at all.
Okay, that was probably the biggest lie of this month or this year..

The three Muskateers!

Another crazy night with two of my favourites have passed. It can never go wrong when i'm spending time with them! It was the first time we were all together since middle of January when Rebecka left Whistler for studies, it was great being together again!

Right after work on Saturday i went to Växjö, three hours ish from where i live, to see Rebecka and Karin. We went out on Saturday night, met all Rebeckas friends that she goes to uni with and had a WICKED night! Might have been too much fun cause on Sunday we were "tired"... Couldn't even bother to make that nice breakfast we talked about the day before, instead we had leftover candy from the night before for breakfast.. After lots of hugs Karin left (Karin lives in LiNköping, almost the same name as the city i come from, LiDköping. But it's three hours apart..). Rest of the day we pretty much just watched movies, Rebecka and i walked around campus, had pizza and watched more movies.. Lazy day eh.. But much needed!

Thumbs up and hope to see them SOON again!

...

Life is incredibly fragile, don't forget to tell the people you love how much you appreciate to have them in your life!

Read every single page in your book...

Time goes by incredibly fast, today, two years ago, i went to Vancouver for the first time. And since then i've crossed the Atlantic sea EIGHT times. I've experienced so much since i came to Canada the first time and it's been two of the best years of my life. Buuut i'm ready for the next chapter in the book i'm reading.. Two months to go until i'm on the plane the other way around Earth, to JAPAN!! I'm so excited, can't wait to get my new skigear and pack my bags for the next adventure.

Last weekend was amazing, went to an awesome staffparty on Saturdaynight. Went out on Sunday with my godfather to pick mushrooms and came home with a full basket of the yellow gold, Then off to a zumba class, which is so much fun!! Definitely the best way of working out! The weekend was completed after a movie at the movietheatre with daddy.

Mission of the week.

My mission for the next days is to try to fit in a visit in Östersund, north part of Sweden, to see my LOOOVELY friend Camilla!!

This guy had the most amazing t-shirt at 80's night that Monday,
"Don't get to excited, i'm just the wingman."

Champagne on a Thursday night..

When you've been working all day and are prrrretty tired can a glas of champagne, followed by dinner and red wine make you quite happy and the day might don't be that bad after all. The highlight of my day, for sure!! I wouldn't mind a bit more of that every Thursday...

...

Yesterday i was at an optician, and apparently, i have to get glasses!!! I'm not that happy about it... Say Hello to schoolteacher Miss Sofia Beijer! Not too cool for school...

Even though i look like a freak on the last picture, i think i look a lot smarter in glasses than i actually am.. Don't think i have to study after all, should be enough to just LOOK smart right?!
But, it's a bloody hell to choose what kind of glasses that's "me"...!!

The world is crying.

I can still remember how i got the news that day ten years ago. I just got home from school, turned the tv on and the only thing that appears on several channels is the news and horrible pictures about the two planes that crashed into the two towers, World trade center. People is screaming, there's thick smoke of ash and there's people with blood in their face.

It was so hard to understand what actually had happened, and it still is, incredibly hard to believe that something so terrible can happen.

Today, ten years after, we remember and is thinking of all the ones who lost someone they loved and cared about. Let it be peace on earth.

Never give up on your dreams..

When i was a little girl my grandma told me that i could be anything i wanted to. She said that everything i work for, everything i wish for, everything i look for it is right in front of me...

The gold of the woods...

I feel like going now now now!

"Tokyo, the capital city of Japan, is regarded as one the four major global cities along with London, Paris, and New York City. In fact, Greater Tokyo is the world's largest city with a population of over 35 million people. Tokyo is also one of the world's leading business destinations with several internationally renowned companies having corporate offices there. The city is famous for its modern skyscrapers, luxurious hotels, world-class shopping malls, bullet trains, nightlife, as well as for its fascinating temples and shrines, gardens, and imperial palaces."

I'm pretty stoked about the days i'm gonna spend in Tokyo before i'm heading up to the mountains. But i'm pretty sure i'll be a bit lost with all my luggage and skis, ALONE, in that city....!! Please please, pretty please skip September and October and give me November right away!!!

It's just like magic...!!

To watch this video now, when the rain is pouring down and the ski season feels so far away, is like giving a little child candy but forbid her from taking any of it! Let's believe it's snow that's DUMPING and tomorrow's gonna be a BIG powder day! How about that?

Last day of summer..?

Spent the passed weekend in our summerhouse and that might have been the last days of summer. We celebrated the lovely weekend by eating crayfish, playing boardgames and go out on the lake with the jetski. AND i took a refreshing swim in the lake, have to say it was a bit chilly though...
