Wedding-letter-from-OZ!

Got a little tiny package from Australia today...

... I got my invitation for Ashleigh's and Tim's wedding in Vietnam which is in March next year. I'm gonna have to look into if there would be any possibilities to go even though i might be studying. Would absolutely LOVE to go and be a part of their wedding!!

Lots of excitement ahead!

It's Monday all over again. Days are just running by but today we got less then two weeks left till i'm leaving for Palma with mami AND... 30 DAYS left till Rebecca and i are flying over to the States to spend 7 weeks traveling around in California, Florida and one last week in the hoods of New York. With other words, LOTS to be looking forward to!!

Rebecca and Sofia - an superduo!!

Uppsala-weekend!

Went to Uppsala, a typical university town north of Stockholm, on Friday to spend the weekend with two of my girls, Caroline and Clara. I absolutely love that city, so pretty!
Had a very nice and relaxing weekend with lots of nice food, sushi and turkish meze, drinks and activities as just strolling around the streets of Uppsala, watching a movie till we fell asleep.. Haven't had an "unplanned" as in no-work-or-a-full-on-schedule weekend since i came back from Japan beginning of April!!! So it was gold worth to just hang around with my loves without any obligations at all. Before i left yesterday i made a BUNCH of cinnamon buns for them. I took the train back at 6pm and came home 4 hours later. Perfect weekend!!

Oishi!

Having a couple of drinks after a lovely dinner.

So sweet!

The cathedral - my favorite sight in Uppsala.

I made them a BUNCH of cinnamon buns before i left yesterday. Yum!

Trouble..?

Even if it looks like it, i promise i haven't been in any trouble at all..

... Just had a tiny surgery and got rid of something on my forehead that looked pretty much like i GIANT pimple. Now it's completely flat and only 8 stitches remains..

Little things i miss..

.. here's a couple of things i miss.

Friends from all over the world. Probably one of the backsides with traveling, even though it's not really a bad thing. I'm talking about getting friends from every single corner of the world. But it's so good to have people to visit in different countries! Sometimes you'd like to have them in one spot though so that you could see them more often..

The Alpine crew

Olympics while living in Vancouver.

Wednesday Euro après in Whis!

Peak-family

Tomoko and Ashy in Japan

Best housemates in Whistler.

New Years in Hakuba.

I also miss my home-away-from home.

Vancouver - such a beauty!

And of course - Whistler.

A beautiful hike in the mountains of Japan.

She will be missed...

... dropped off the kiddo at the airport yesterday and got a call a couple of hours ago that she has arrived safe and sound in Perth where she'll be staying till April next year. It's not till now i realize that she won't come back for a LONG time.
I've been away for almost two years time since i graduated from high school three years ago, not two years in a row but at a couple of different times and when it's you that is the one who are out traveling and away from everyone else you're kind of "up in the air".  I mean.. Everything is new, you meet so much new people, you get a new life set up somewhere and you doesn't feel that emptiness that the ones feel that are "left behind" back home. That's the difference this time, when my sister is the one who's away.. And i'm the one left behind this time.. Feels like something is wrong. But i guess it's her turn!

I will miss all the silly things we're always doing, all the laughs till my eyes is tearing.. All the times when you feel like spending time with someone but don't feel like talking at all, i know, weird hey. But a sister is the best friend you could ever have. She's someone that you can have the biggest argues with but you'll always be just as good friends as always in the next hour.. She's someone that understand you inside, out without the need to say anything at all.. But you're coming back and before it's time for your ikea-land-return you're gonna have the time of your life!!!

Love you till the end.

Windy...

.. weekend in Smögen. But, how i love that place! Always get in such a good mood when i get over the bridge and see all the beauty. It doesn't matter what kind of weather it is, it's as stunning in rain as in sunshine.

Such a beautiful end of summer night.

Brekky on the dock.

Today i've been working at a kindergarten, need to keep myself busy while waiting for the big day to arrive. It was okay, a bunch of lovely kids (and a couple of bad ones..lol) Kids do bring a lot of happiness, that's for sure!

Sister-love!

Spending a last week with my sis before she's leaving Ikea-land for OZ! It's her turn to go out and enjoy this lovely world.. My turn to be left behind..

I love you more than anything.

But i shouldn't complain about being left behind.. I'm going to California end of October for a month, roadtrippin' San Francico to San Diego, flying from San Diego to Miami to spend two weeks on the beach and our trip ends with a one week visit in New York!!! Caaaan't wait!
