On this day a year ago thousands of people fell victim for the biggest tsunami on record who swept in over Japans central east coast. I remember having breakfast in our living room in Whistler, watching the news about what just had happened in Japan. When it first happened i didn't really realize how bad it was, you know how it is.. and living in a ski resort is like living in a bubble. It's hard to take information about the "outside world". You're kind of living in another world where everything revolves around how the skiing was that day, your job, friends etc.. So it was first after a couple of days, after been reading, watching and hearing about the news that i realized what a devastation it was!
Please take a minute of your day to think about all those people who lost their family members, friends and homes a year ago.
